Are you making a positive impact through volunteer service at UT Austin or in the community? VSL wants to recognize your contribution! Each month, we highlight one student who demonstrates the following attributes in their service:

Impact: The extent to which your service led to a positive change for stakeholders (people, animals, ecosystems, institutions), for example how it addressed a need, improved conditions, or benefited a cause.
- Consistency: The degree to which you showed up regularly, stayed involved over time, and followed through on responsibilities.

Dedication: Your level of personal commitment or passion for the cause.
Winners receive a recognition prize, an official certificate, and a spotlight on Volunteer UT’s social media.
To Apply or Nominate:
Choose the correct month for which you're applying below and click "Register" to complete the application form.
Notes:
- Who Can Apply: Any UT Austin student involved in service.
- When to Apply: Applications are accepted from the 1st to the last day of the month before the one for which you're applying.
- When You'll Hear Back: Winners are notified by the second Monday of the month for which you applied.
- Each student can only win once per academic year.
- If you don't win one month, please re-apply!
