I volunteered at a loft event for Texas Performing Arts. We set up a booth and whenever a student would ask about what we were doing there or why we were handin out free food we would explain what the loft is and who it is for. We set up a few hours before the show and cleaned up about 30 - 45 minutes after. It went very well and I would say that it was very successful.
I volunteered at a loft event for TPA. I talked with students about what the loft was and who it is for. We spent about an hour and a half setting up and spent the last hour and a half talking with people who were there to see the show. Working loft events are a fun experience because of the people you get to meet and mingle with. Volunteering my time for TPA has helped my communication skills a lot and I'm always happy to volunteer at a loft event.
I worked another loft event for one of the comedians that came to TPA. It wasn't as big as the Little Mermaid loft event, but it was still really fun getting to work and volunteer with other people who are a part of TPA. Basically the same thing, helped guide people to where they needed to be and set up and cleaned up afterward.
I worked a loft event with Texas Performing Arts for the Little Mermaid. I helped set up the table on the 6th floor and helped people figure out where they needed to go. It was a lot of fun and getting to see so many people hyped about the show was really amazing.
Last semester I helped a Boy Scout with his Eagle Scout project by going to his service events. I helped by setting up donation areas and informing people to bring in cans, old clothing, toys, and other items they were no longer using or wanting. I helped sort out each of the items and putting them in boxes that was labeled by gender and item.

Last semester my ULN group planned for our service event within our small group during two class periods. We planned to help the Austin community by going to one of the parks that needed help with planting trees and getting rid of weeds and plants over one weekend.
