week 5 of 5. this was the final wrap up week. we tried kiwi, avacados, pears and a pomegranate. we reviewed everything we went over and with the time left we played twister and did homework
week 4 of 5. this week we played a couple games and learned about the importance of including dairy in their diets.
week 3 of 5. we discussed the importance of whole grains in their diet. had popcorn. helped with homework and played twister.
Week 2 of the 5 week program on nutrition. This week we played fruit and vegetable bingo, tried mango's and spoke about the importance of protein. Also helped a few of the kids with homework.
This was week one of a five week commitment. During the five weeks I will be discussing the importance of a well rounded diet and the nutritional importance. This week we did a word search and talked about fruits and vegetables.
Wonderful learning experience on the process of signing up and connecting with service project.
