I worked on creating the group PowerPoint with my team, specifically in writing most of the bullet points and creating the outline of the presentation. I also wrote a script for the presenters.
I contacted our community partners via email and/or via phone weekly for the last two months to update them on our work and set up a meeting time.
Essay - After we split up the essay portion of the project into five sections, I wrote the first two on the background of the non-profit and the issues our partners faced. I also conducted extra research on our non-profit partner during this time.
Presentation - I attended the final Google meeting and presented alongside two teammates. We also practiced the presentation beforehand for an hour.
Partnerships - I created a flyer to distribute to apartments around the trail. A teammate and I then contacted six apartment buildings via email to ask for partnerships in distributing these flyers.
Our team met with our non-profit partners in class.
I visited the trail we were helping promote to take pictures and video for social media use.
