I had an awesome time at Hope Fest 2016. Its my second time volunteering in the Food Service and I absolutely love feeling useful for the time that we are serving the community. Even though its a stressful environment, I love working as a team and helping serve the people at the festival. I will definitely bring the members of TIPCO again next year!
This is my 3rd year volunteering for the Project and I absolutely loved it. I got to paint the hallway of Dobie Middle School and felt like I was very productive this weekend because of it. I got to know a lot of new people and made got closer with the organization. Though I would have enjoyed a nice meal after my hard labor, I thought that the event was well-organized and was an overall success.
I loved volunteering with Micah 6. It wasn't my first time and it won't be the last.
I absolutely loved volunteering at HopeFest '15! I was in the Food Service team and I loved helping serve beefy nachos to the community of Austin. It was hard work, but I liked working as a team and am looking forward to volunteering again next year!
The event was fun and I had a great time volunteering with my friends.
I really love volunteering at family-oriented events and YMCA's Family Play Day was a really fun event where I was able to promote family interaction and observe how children have fun and enjoy all the things that the city is able to offer. I felt very welcome and like I was a part of the YMCA team. I would definitely recommend this event and wil be making an appearance again next year.
I volunteered for the Office of Admissions at UT Austin to help write personal letters to the incoming freshmen class of 2019. I had a lot of fun writing personal notes and appreciate the gesture in having current students write to future students.
