A few other Helping Hornz members and I helped clean up after the closure of the Orange Santa Store by pulling down lights, breaking down tables, removing table covers, and boxing up decorations. While we were unfortunately unable to be a part of the main events, we were still able to play an important part in bringing happier holidays to hundreds of families.

In my first experience at Austin Pets Alive!, I was thrilled to see the level of commitment that the volunteers and staff have to the animals they take care of, and I'm excited to begin filling a role with the organization. In my first day, that involved getting oriented, drying the dogs' kennels, putting blankets in the kennels, and feeding the dogs. I can't wait to get more involved in the Spring!
