I've volunteered with the sustainability squad a few times and it has educated me further on recycling on our campus. Also I think I am more mindful when throwing my trash away. I've learned a tiny bit about baseball (at least I know a few of the player's names and that there is a pretty good dj at the games.)

Makes you realize how wasteful we can be with energy especially on campus because we don't have to worry about the electrical bill. Just makes you more mindful about the environment.

You realize that the clothes you don't wear in your closet can be put to better use by someone else.

Offers an alternative to just throwing away your clothes.

I was able to listen to a very interesting perspective on war tactics from an artist while making waffles.Got a cool free t-shirt and delicious waffles also discovered a cool new place to hangout near an art museum.

Assisted with the triathlon while enjoy Pace Park, which is a beautiful park. Some volunteers even got to camp out the night before, maybe next year I will try it.
