When we first showed up in the morning, each person was assigned a certain task in the care package assembly line. After all two hundred or so packages were completed, we then split into teams to visit various homeless locations around campus. I had a really fun time assembling the packages, and the event leaders were well organized. In addition, seeing the faces of homeless men and women light up when we stopped to give them the packages brought a tremendous sense of fulfillment.
Was with gamma beta phi and I helped set up a fundraiser for an elementary school. Wasn't quite sure how to input it so I just did it under beta.
We were able to help out the crew in whatever task they needed. It was a great service and brotherhood event.
