Loved this conversation on art in sacred spaces.
I would like to see this as an ongoing topic.
Fun evening with L.B. and Buzz from Dionysium at the Elisabet Ney Museum.
Wonderful Industry Night show! Graham Reynolds, Cami Alys, and Chris Gibson were delightful as always!
Great turnout! Over 70 folks came to have waffles and talk about dance, arts funding, and what your body needs in regard to movement!
The waffles are fun, but the question about the arts and "when did you first realize..." was the best!
Second year to "Waffle for Fusebox", and it's just an honor to get to. Everyone was very patient friendly, and complimentary - - very pleasurable duty.
My mission for next year is to recruit more volunteers for the waffling, and bring the supplies and fixins. I can't afford to be a Colonel, but as a buck private, I can lead a squad for an event and try to line up a team for these events specifically. Another SL or two, and the whole shebang is off your plate. It was ridiculous that Kim Turner had to be so hands on, when we need to be stepping up to do the nuts and bolts, so that she can be out front as one of the major faces and voices of Fusebox. She smiles through it all and is always 100 % positive, every moment. We need that energy out front.
And call me.
Long live Fusebox!
