The Big Event is St. Edward’s University annual one-day service project sponsored by the Student Government Association. This community service project provides students with the opportunity to say “Thank You” to our Austin neighbors for their support. Students, faculty and staff join together to do lawn work, cleaning, painting, and much more for homes, parks and schools. This 13th annual Big Event will be held on Saturday, April 1st, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with check-in beginning at 7:30 a.m. Check-in will be held in the Alumni Gym. Volunteers are advised to drive or carpool to their sites, although vans will be provided in case volunteers are unable to accommodate.
