Be the Change: Annual Service Workday!

Sunday, September 29th, 2013 from 9:00am to 3:00pm

Be the Change is an annual day of service coordinated by South Asian Americans Leading Together (SAALT) that inspires and fosters civic engagement through volunteerism and community service. This year will be a collaboration with University of Texas's Project Reach Out and the City of Austin. The Be the Change theme is “Stand Together, Serve Together,” which showcases how individuals give back.

UT Concho Community Garden is holding a special workday for this annual day of service, and we hope you will be a part of it! There will be lots of activities going on at the garden from planting and watering to composting and more. Come help at UT's only community garden, learn some new skills, meet some new friends, and teach us some of what you know.

Hope to see you there!
