Description

Join us at the Elisabet Ney Museum for our fourth annual Polkapocalypse on Sunday, October 30. This event, which is going to take place from noon to 5 pm, will feature Polish Pete and the Polka I Hardly Knew Her Band, The Fabulous Polkasonics, Los Texmaniacs, and Brave Combo. There will also be art activities, face painting and and an outdoor dance floor.

We will primarily need help with overseeing booths and assisting patrons in the museum. Volunteers can choose between these two shifts: 10 am - 2 pm and 2 pm - 6 pm. During the morning shift, we are going to begin by setting up canopies, tables and chairs, and handing out supplies, and for the afternoon shift, we will finish up by taking down the canopies, and loading up equipment.
