About
Big Brothers, Big Sisters Group Mentoring is a virtual after-school program that connects Warren Wilson students with a group of elementary and middle school kids.
Through this program volunteers will create and facilitate fun and engaging activities such as arts and crafts, story time, and simple baking recipes! This is an 11 week long program with agendas provided for the first six weeks. Volunteers will have the opportunity to attend weekly preparation meetings where roles will be designated, and future agendas planned.
Virtual activities will occur once a week for 45 mins - 1 hour (between 2 PM - 4 PM). Participation in this semester long engagement opportunity satisfies the Understand (PEG 2) requirement.
**Specific dates for "preparation meetings" as well as "group facilitation" will be dependant on your availability**
