New to SPS and want to get involved? Come find what you love and love what you find with Somerville Public Schools! Visit www.somerville.k12.ma.us/volunteer to get started and to view some of Somerville's remote and in-person volunteer opportunities right next door to the Tufts Medford Campus.

SPS welcomes remote volunteer tutors and mentors. Minimum requirement to be matched with an educator, student or family is one hour per week. Out-of-school time tutors welcomed.   

Somerville Volunteers COVID-19 response events include food packaging, food distribution, winter clothing drive, and free diaper distribution days in Somerville. Safe, social distancing and outdoors. Prior training required for some opportunities.
