The Stronger Austin Program seeks interns who are aspiring leaders eager to make an impact in the community. Our team of interns will work closely with the Stronger Austin team to research, develop, implement, and promote this local initiative and are responsible for assisting with projects that vary in time-frame, scale, and orientation. We are seeking interns who are excited to work on a new initiative and are eager to learn, contribute, shape, and mold the work we do. The ideal candidate is a student working toward a Bachelor's or Master's degree in public health, health education, exercise science, social work, marketing, communications or a related field. Stronger Austin Interns must have a basic knowledge of health promotion, fitness, and/or public health. Basic HTML, CSS, and database management and knowledge of health promotion theories and/or exercise science are a plus, but not required.
Bilingual: Spanish & English is a plus.
Interns are required to attend the intern orientation on May 30, 2019.
Interns are required to intern a minimum of 15 hours per week.
